About the event
Founded in 1994, this festival is one of the most respected in the world for sacred and spiritual music. It brings Sufism, Gregorian chant, qawwali, gospel, polyphonies and Asian or African traditions into dialogue, in the spirit of tolerance and cross-cultural encounter that defines Fes.
The programme combines major evening concerts at Bab Al Makina, intimate afternoon concerts at the Batha Museum, Sufi nights and talks. It is a more refined, contemplative event than the big pop festivals, ideal for discovering the Fes medina from another angle.
